Johns Hopkins University Campus Visit

Most Johns Hopkins undergraduates study at Homewood, the 140-acre North Baltimore campus that has been home to our School of Engineering since 1914 and our School of Arts & Sciences since 1916. Today, about 5,000 undergrads take courses offered by those two schools at Homewood.

Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom

March 19, 2018

The National Park Service today predicted the peak bloom of the cherry trees as March 17 – March 20. To coincide with the prediction, the National Cherry Blossom Festival will begin on March 17 with the opening of the Tidal Basin Welcome Area and ANA Performance Stage.

Peabody Concert

The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) is a conservatory and university-preparatory school in the Mount Vernon-Belvedere neighborhood of northern Baltimore, Maryland, United States.

 

The Peabody Institute was founded in 1857 and opened in 1866 by merchant/ financier and philanthropist George Peabody, (1795–1869), and is the oldest conservatory in the United States.
